Cape Point Campground Temporarily Closes Due to Flooding
Cape Point Campground in Buxton temporarily closed on Wednesday
morning, July 25, due to flooding from days of heavy rains. Despite the
flooding of the individual campsites, the road that cuts through the
campground and which leads to the South Beach Parking Area is still

although with additional rainfall in the forecast, there is currently
not an exact timeframe of when this will occur.
