We all have a smile.
I am going to choose now to hold onto all the smiles. My mom had one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen.
OnEaster Sunday, March 27, 2016 Patricia M. Conley took her last breath. She was surrounded by the love of her family and left us with a smilethat let us know that she is no longer in pain. Our hearts are so heavywith her leaving, and if there is one thing there is never enough of, Iwould have to say it is time.
Patriciais preceded in death by her husband, Kenn Conley, my father, whom I amsure was there to hold her hand as she moved on. I believe she wasgreeted on the other side by her parents, Gloria and RichardReisinger, whom she hadn’t seen in years. She is survived by her son,Chad Conley, and wife Sharon and grandson Evan of Haddon Township N.J.,her brother, Rick Reisinger, and wife Diane of Marysville, Pa., andsister Nancy Wilson of Sarasota, Fla.
Agraduate of Cumberland Valley High School, she served as an AAA titleclerk until her retirement to Avon NC. Awarded for her communityservice in Avon, she volunteered at the Graveyard of the Atlanticmuseum, was certified to help during storms and was deeply involved inthe Hatteras Meals on Wheels program.
We all have a story.
Onceupon a time, there was a beautiful little girl born into a family, thatfamily was full of so many personalities. Sometimes within thosefamilies, the light we all have fades, but with some people the lightonly becomes stronger. Becoming so bright and full of life it isimpossible not to be seen. At this point, I feel we have become who wetruly are. No longer seeking or searching but embracing ourselves forwho we are. Life should be filled. Every moment, with love, mistakes, joy and sorrow.
My mom was one of these lights.
Weall have adventures and experiences that mean so much to make us who weare. There have been so many beautiful memories made for us all to holdonto with my mom. Let us all look back and think on whatever smiles shehelped create. I want to not see this as a loss but as a chance to giveback so much of what she shared.
“Ever has it been that love knows not its depth until the point of separation.”
