RODANTHE — Alisa Jane Cahoon Bryan, 45, of Rodanthe, passed awayMonday, April 18, 2011. Born in Norfolk, Va., she is thedaughterof Bonnie Cahoon Covey of Rodanthe and the late Gene Stanley Cahoon ofColumbia, N.C., and the stepdaughter of Pete Covey of Rodanthe. Ms.Bryan was a member of Lifeboat Community Church and a volunteer at theFood Pantry in Salvo.
Ms. Bryan is survived by two sons, Paul Collin Hancock andCharles Ian Hancock of Rodanthe; two daughters, Miranda Kaye Hancock ofBrooksville, Fla., and Gina Natasha Willis of Raleigh; three brothers,David Cahoon and wife, Teresa, of Wanchese, Scott Cahoon of Snow Hill,N.C., and Thomas Cahoon and wife, Tammi, of Wakefield, Va.; threegrandchildren, Logan Gene-Christopher Willis, David Micah Hancock, andAdam Ray Hancock, and her estranged husband, Keith Bryan of Inverness,Fla.
A celebration of her life will be held at Lifeboat Community Church at3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in Salvo with Pastor Steve Simmonsofficiating.
