ELIZABETHCITY –Eula Wesley Price Gray, 89, of Elizabeth City, passed away at herdaughter’s residence in Chocowinity, N.C., on Sunday, Oct. 17,2010. She was born April 17, 1921 on Portsmouth Island, N.C.tothe late Alvin Wesley Price and the late Edna Austin Price and marriedMalachi Wesley Gray, who also preceded her in death.
In additionto herparents and husband, Mrs. Gray is preceded in death by one daughter,Barbara G. Stanna; three brothers, Alvin Mann Price, Benjamin EarlPrice, James Bannister Price; an infant son, Mahlon P. Gray, and herinfant daughter, Edna Carol Gray.
She issurvived herby two daughters, Connie Gray Bradford of Elizabeth City and Edna CarolAshe of Chocowinity; three sons, Malcolm Worth Gray of Antigua,Guatemala, Terry Wayne Gray of Wilmington, N.C., and William MichaelGray of Elizabeth City, and two sisters, Rosa P. Scarborough and NitaP. Miller, both of Avon.
The Funeralwill beat 11: a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Avon Worship Center inAvon. Interment will be in the Scarborough Cemetery,immediatelyfollowing the church service, also in Avon.
