OCRACOKE– James Kenneth Gordon, Sr., beloved husband, and father, passed awaysuddenly on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at his home on OcracokeIsland, NC. He was 82 years old.
Mr.Gordon was married to his wife Joyce for 63 years, the couple had knowneach other since elementary school. He was preceded in death by hisparents, Lucian and Valli Gordon, his brother, Odell Gordon, and agreat-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his children,Debi, Cindy (Richard), Ken (Christie), and Lisa (Steve); tengrandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; his sister, Jean, as wellas numerous nieces and nephews.
PerMr. Gordon’s wishes, there will be no public service. During thisdifficult time, the family would like to thank the loving friends whohave provided so much support and prayers.
