HATTERAS — Jordan Dudley Burrus, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016.
Jordan is survived by his father, Buddy Burrus of Hatteras and hismother, Sherry Burrus of Kill Devil Hills; and his brother, CalebBurrus, and wife, Candace, of Apex, N.C. He also leaves behind hismaternal grandparents, George and Mary Ansell of Nags Head and a hostof aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. Jordan waspreceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luther Dudley “Dud”Burrus II and Delores Burrus Conner.
Jordan will be missed for his warm heart, contagious humor and his free spirit.
A celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept.2, at Hatteras United Methodist Church with Rev. Toni Wood and Rev.Gina Miller officiating. The family will receive friends and relativesone hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place in theBurrus Family Cemetery.
