OUTHERN SHORES – Martha “Marty” Eaton Batsel passed away at home Sunday, May 24, 2020. Marty was born October 11, 1941 in Albany, NY to the late Lynn Eaton and Marion Bender.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harold Michael Batsel; her sister, Lynne Dos Santos; children, Susan Lynn Bosco and Robert Karl Brummer Jr.; stepsons, Brian Batsel and Paul Batsel; and her loving grandchildren, Nicolas, “Boomer”, Bailey, Ryan and Sophia.
Marty was a member of Duck Woods County Club, where she enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She loved her many dear friends and loved sharing numerous activities with them in the Outer Banks community she cherished.
A celebration of Marty’s life will take place at Duck Woods County Club in Southern Shores Saturday June 13, 2020 at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marty’s memory can be made to www.foodforthoughtobx.org and www.obxspca.org.
