Locally, Ocracoke Island could see about 1-2 inches of rain, while Hatteras Island could see up to 3 inches of accumulated rain from Wednesday until Saturday.

Temperatures are also expected to drop within the next couple of days. Wednesday morning readings of temperatures in the 60s will drop to the 40s and 50s this afternoon, and are expected to stay in this range for the next few days.
