Frisco Woods Campground hosting first-ever weekly Old Trent Market
The Frisco Woods Campground is hosting a new local market, the “Old Trent Market,” which will showcase a variety of local artisans and craftsmen from around the Outer Banks.
The inaugural market was held on Thursday, June 16, with a selection of handmade crafts, goodies, artworks, and local books, and more vendors will be added as the season continues.
The market is held every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Frisco Woods Campground.
In addition, last week marked the seasonal opening of the Avon Farmers Market, which is held every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. next to the Avon Beach Klub and the Avon Pier. The Avon market features dozens of local farmers and vendors, and runs from early June until the Tuesday after Labor Day.
Both markets are free and open to the public.
