Assault Incident Leads to Felony Gun Arrest in Frisco

On August 9, 2024, at approximately 8:46 a.m., deputies from the C-District responded to an assault call in the 5200 block of Piney Ridge Road, Frisco. During the investigation, it was determined that a male victim was assaulted with a toolbox tray. Additionally, the assailant discharged a handgun during the incident; fortunately, no one was injured.

As a result of the investigation, Madison Paige Hershberger, 28, of Buxton, NC, was arrested. Hershberger faces charges of felony possession of a firearm by a felon, misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor discharging a firearm within city limits. She is currently being held on a 48-hour hold pending further court proceedings.
