North Carolina Fisheries Association Meetings with Local Fishermen Scheduled for April

The North Carolina Fisheries Association (NCFA) has scheduled some meetings along the coast for fishermen and supporters to discuss very important issues for the commercial fishing community and the upcoming Seafood Lobby Day in Raleigh. Scheduled for May 23rd, Seafood Lobby Day is less than six weeks away.

Per the NCFA, these are important meetings for anyone interested in a future for commercial fishing families, and assuring access to fresh North Carolina seafood.

Here are the meetings that have been scheduled so far:

DARE COUNTY:

Thursday, April 19th at 4:00 p.m.
Wanchese Community Center
295 Old Schoolhouse Road
Wanchese, NC 27981

Monday, April 23rd at 4:00pm
Hatteras Community Building (behind library next to the Post Office)
56658 NC Hwy 12 Hatteras, NC 27943

BRUNSWICK COUNTY:
Wednesday, April 18th at 6:00 p.m.
Tri-Beach VFD
854 Sabbath Home Rd SW
Supply, NC 28462
