Cape Hatteras Hurricanes’ baseball and softball teams will host Senior Night and Family Picture Night on Monday, April 14, in a special celebration that corresponds with a home game against the Columbia Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. in Buxton.

“This will be your last chance to catch the 2025 Hurricanes baseball and softball teams at home unless we are fortunate enough to host a state playoff game,” said Keith Durham, Head Varsity Baseball Coach. “Senior player and parent recognition will be at approximately 4:45 p.m. prior to the game. After the game, we invite all friends and family out onto the field to take pictures with your favorite Hurricanes player. We will also have a very special ceremony for seniors after the pictures.”

“This season has truly been a blessing to me,” added Durham. “We have an amazing group of young people representing our school and community each time they take the field. It has been a joy to be a part of this run this season, and to have been a part of Hurricanes Baseball for the past 10 years. The beauty of this Senior Night is that we know we still have baseball to play after Monday night – two road games, then hopefully a state playoff berth.”

The public is invited to come out to the ballpark and support the Hurricanes on Monday evening. All games will take place at the Cape Hatteras Secondary School at 48576 N.C. Highway 12 in Buxton.
