Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County to host diaper distribution event in Buxton

Share post:

Since June of 2020, just after the start of the pandemic, Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County (CYP) has been distributing diapers to families in the Dare County community.

CYP continues to recognize that diaper need is a problem throughout the Outer Banks, and through CYP’s Diaper Bank, the organization will be holding a diaper pick-up event in Buxton on December 4, where families will be able to receive free diapers to help with their needs.

The diaper distribution will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fessenden Center Annex in Buxton. During this timeframe, newborn to size 6 diapers will be available in limited quantities.

Please contact CYP at (252)441-0614, visit darekids.org, or follow CYP on Facebook at facebook.com/cypdarekids for more information about these and other upcoming distributions.

CYP’s Diaper Bank is only possible through the generosity and support of individuals, businesses, and organizations, such as the Outer Banks Community Foundation. CYP is accepting tax-deductible monetary donations and donations of unopened packs of diapers for CYP’s Diaper Bank. Visit darekids.org/blog/cyps-diaper-bank to learn more about how you can help.
