The Community Care Clinic of Dare will be hosting a Health Fair at the Rodanthe Community Building on Monday, March 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to everyone, thanks to support from Outer Banks Health, and includes blood pressure checks, blood glucose screenings, cholesterol checks, and A1C checks. (which measures average blood sugar levels). Appointments are not required to attend, and to get a free health screening.

Other nonprofit organizations will also be in attendance, which includes the Dare County Library. On Monday, a pop-up library will also be available from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. where community members can check out books, get a library card, learn about upcoming programs, and much more.
In addition, the Community Care Clinic of Dare has recently expanded the hours at its year-round Frisco Clinic, with a provider available to see patients on the second and fourth Thursday of every month.
New patients are welcome, and can schedule an appointment by calling 252-261-3041. The Frisco Clinic is located at the Dare County Department of Public Health, (Across from the EMS Station), at 50347 N.C. Highway 12.
The Health Fair on March 10 will be held at 23646 N.C. Highway 12 in Rodanthe.
