2025 Waterfowl Festival postponed to March 21-22
The 2025 Waterfowl Festival that was planned for this weekend, Feb. 21-22, has been postponed to the weekend of March 21-22 due to weather concerns.
“I know that we are not going to be directly affected here on the island to a great degree, but others who are key to the event – such as presenters, vendors, and attendees – will be, so we have made the decision to move the event to the next available weekend for us,” said organizer Karla Jarvis of the Hatteras Village Civic Association.
“Once we confirm that participants who have already signed up for events such as the Fin, Feather and Bourbon, guided painting, and [potential] vendors can join us on the rescheduled date, we will reopen registration for those who would like to join us for those limited festival events.”
