A tour of Hatteras Island’s 2023 holiday lights… WITH SLIDESHOW

Hatteras Islanders are clearly in the holiday spirit, as evident by the number of lights and displays at local residences, businesses, and everything in between.

IFP Photographer Don Bowers took a tour of the island this past week, (and before the weekend storm), to collect a sample of these eye-catching displays, and from Hatteras to the Tri-villages, the southern Outer Banks is boasting some of the best and brightest Christmas lights in recent memory.

Please feel free to share your holiday light photos and add them to the slideshow above by emailing editor@islandfreepress.org.

From all of us at the Island Free Press, we hope you have a very merry and extra bright Christmas, and a wonderful New Year!
