Dare County launches new spring gardening tips video
Dare County, in partnership with Current TV, has released a new video, “Spring Gardening Tips from the Dare County Extension Master Gardeners,” which is designed to help local gardeners prepare for the spring planting season with expert advice tailored to the unique coastal conditions of the Outer Banks.
Hosted by Jenna Livernois, Dare County’s horticulture agent with North Carolina Cooperative Extension, the video provides valuable insights on the best time to start spring planting and how to properly prepare your soil, as well as the importance of performing soil testing and why it’s essential to select native plants that will thrive in the region.
