NAGS HEAD — William L. Wright, Jr. or “Bill – Buck” as he was best known passed away at the family home in Nags Head, NC February 8, 2019. Bill-Buck was born September 13, 1938 to the lateWilliam L. Wright and Louise Thomas Wright in Newport News, VA.
He is survived by his wife Grace of Nags Head, NC; daughter,Michelle Wright of Kitty Hawk, NC; two sons, Duncan Wright and wife Whitney of Kitty Hawk, NC and Richard Wright of Farmville, VA: granddaughters, Lindsey Wright of Medford, OR and Shannon Dorham of Hampton, VA; grandsons Jesse Wilkerson of Kitty Hawk, NC and Jason Dorham of Crystal Beach, TX; great grandson, Zeke Silverthorne of Kitty Hawk,NC; adopted by choice grandchildren, Thomas and Emily Lopez of Yorktown, VA; and special aunt Barbara Littlepage of Williamsburg, VA.
Bill-Buck was proud of his service with the 82nd Airborne Special Forces, US Army. Per his request there will be no memorial services.
