FRISCO– Clarice Ballance Gray, 91, died Saturday March 2, 2013 inCurrituck. Mrs. Gray was born in Hatteras and was a homemaker andfaithful member of Hatteras United Methodist Church where she served inthe choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She also wasa member of the Cape Hatteras Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.Clarice was a “wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.”
She was the daughter of the late Reuben and Charlotte Odin Ballance and wife of the late Roy L. Gray.
Survivingis her daughter, Jeannie G. Crook and husband, Bill, of Buxton and son,Roy Gray Jr. and wife, Mary, of Etowah, Tenn.; her sister, Aldena B.Midgett of Mooresville, N.C.; grandchildren, Dara and husband, Matthew,Paula and husband, Chad, Matthew and wife, Marcella, Stephanie andGreg; and great grandchildren, Mareena, Lindsay, Charlotte, Trevor andReagan.
A service to celebrate the life of Clarice will be atHatteras United Methodist Church, Tuesday, March 5, at 11 a.m. by Rev.Dwight Burrus and Rev. Ken Davenport.
