KILLDEVIL HILLS — Christopher Michael Wynn, 44, died Monday, May 27, 2013in Nags Head. Christopher was born in Columbus, Ohio, was acommercial fisherman, and had a passion for hunting, fishing, surfing,and cooking. Christopher loved to cook and enjoyed the company of hisfriends. He was a former basketball coach for Ocracoke School,where he was also an instructor of hunting safety.
He was the son of William J. Wynn, III and Carolyn Luckhaupt Wynn and the husband of Kelley Midgette Wynn.
Christopheris also survived by his four sons: Christopher J. Wynn, Joseph C.Koerperich, Michael J. Koerperich and David J. Koerperich; one sister,Gina Najem, and husband, Lawrence; maternal grandmother, MaryLuckhaupt; two nieces, Nicole and Emily, and one nephew, John.Christopher loved animals and was also survived by his Boston terrier,Reagan.
A celebration of life will be held at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Saturday, June 1, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Steve Siegrist.
