WAVES — Frances Joyce Kapp Huggett, 86, died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016at her home. A native of Charleston, W.Va., she was the daughter of thelate Edward R. Kapp and Frances Marguerite Wehrle. Joy was very activein the Hot Line Thrift Shop of Waves for many years.
Joy is survived by daughters, Karen Caldwell of Birmingham, Ala., andSusan Williams of Cary, N.C.; sons, John Doyle of Atlanta, Ga., andRobert Huggett of Waves, and granddaughter, Helen, of Birmingham. Alongwith her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, RobertEdgar Huggett.
In keeping with Joy’s wishes, there will be no memorial service at thistime. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends ofFelines — Cape Hatteras Island, PO Box 310, Avon, NC 27915.
