Harry, like his father, was a woodworking craftsman whose specialty wasboat restoration. He was employed with D & J Woodcraft of Wanchesefor the past 20 years.
Harry, also known as Bud or Yoda to family and friends, was a hard coreclassic rock and roll fan. He was never without bare feet, long hair, rock music, and a smile. They were quintessential hallmarks of the freespirit he was and perfectly punctuated the lifestyle he lived andloved.

Harry, in the short time he was with us, left a larger than lifeimpression on those who knew and loved him. He traveled to the (rock’n’ roll) beat of a different drum, living and loving life and thepeople he shared it with. He lived hard, laughed often, and loved much.He was a positive force to be reckoned with and always left laughter, aprank, or a little chaos in his wake. It’s who he was, why he wasloved., and the reason we’ll never forget him or the times we shared.
The Twiford Funeral Home of Manteo is handling the arrangements.
Services/interment will be private, once the family has had time to assemble from near and far.
In lieu of flowers, please remember Harry and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
“If you die you’re completely happy…and your soul somewhere lives on.
I’m not afraid of dying.
Total peace after death, becoming someone else is the best hope I’ve got.”
