MANTEO– Elaine Midgett Daniels, 79, formerly of Wanchese, died Friday, Nov.4, 2016. Mrs. Daniels was born in Waves and was a homemaker. Shewas a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Daniels was predeceased by her parents, Jerome Midgett andMargaret Cuthrell Midgett Lewis; husband, Dennie Daniels; brothers,Larry and EJ; and a sister, Linda.
Surviving are three daughters, Robin D. Holt of Wanchese, RhondaDaniels of Deep Gap, N.C., and Anita Tillett of Currituck;grandchildren, Corey Jackson, Duncan Daniels, Perry Jackson, SteveTillett, Brandy Kato, Teresa Murph and Toni Murph; sevengreat-grandchildren; brothers, James, Donald and Anthony; specialfriends, Edna M. Daniels, Carrol Tillett, Mrs. Maxine Bryant, and DaleZahn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, atBethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Davenportofficiating. Burial will be in Cudworth Cemetery, Wanchese.In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Daniels’ memory may be made toSamaritan’s Purse, P.O.
