Hatteras, NC – Leven Burrus Fulcher, Jr., 78, of Hatteras, NC died onFriday, November 18, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Anative of Hatteras Island, he was the son of the late Leven Fulcher,Sr. and Ina Oden Fulcher. Leven served his country honorably retiringfrom the United States Coast Guard as Chief Boatswain Mate. Longtimesecretary for the Cape Hatteras Lodge #698 AF & AM, Leven was theowner and operator of Seaside Seafood Market in Hatteras.
Leven is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Sanor Fulcher; two sons, LevenB. Fulcher III of Elizabeth City, and E.W. Fulcher of Raleigh; fourgrandsons, Alex, Austin, Leven IV, and Royce Fulcher all of ElizabethCity; and three great-grandchildren. Leven is also survived by asister, Geraldine Farrow of Hatteras; and a brother, Erskine Fulcher ofBuxton.
In keeping with Leven’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
