David Matthew Walsh was born January 28, 1959, in Brainerd, MN and died June 30, 2023, in Nags Head, NC. Matthew was preceded in death by his parents, Harriett and Jerry Walsh. He is survived by his siblings, Sunny (Steve) Slocum, Thomas (Nancy) Walsh, and Peter Walsh; niece, Elizabeth (Andrew) Kramer; grandniece, Ella; grandnephew; Owen, and his many friends.
If there were a theme song for Matthew’s life it would be “My Way”. He was funny, creative, and could tell a story like nobody else.
Matthew’s family would like to thank those who made his final days easier. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Matthew’s name may be made to Camp Friendship, 10509 108th Street SW, Annandale, MN 55302.
