NAGS HEAD — On Friday, February 28, 2025, Elaine McMichael White passed away peacefully at home during her battle with cancer. From Pennsauken, New Jersey, Elaine was the only daughter of the late Wallace and Elaine McMichael (neé Daisey).
Elaine will be greatly missed by her devoted husband James White and her four loving daughters and their husbands, Britni (Ben), Stefani (Matt), Shelbi (Sheldon) and Carri (Jimmy). She was the proud “Grammi” of her precious grandchildren Henry, Scottie, Oliver, Paige, Madison and Lainey. She is also survived by her brothers Dennis (Lorraine) and David (Linda) and many cousins, nieces and nephews, all who adored her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wally.
Elaine loved going to the beach, visiting her home state of New Jersey, listening to Jimmy Buffett, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. She had a deep passion for staying in touch with her extended family and friends. She became instant friends with anyone she met, and she truly never met a stranger.
Life will never be the same without Little Elaine.
