WANCHESE – Horace Waymac Midgett III, 51, of Wanchese, NC died Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Born in Pasquotank County on December 5, 1968, he was the son of the late Viola O’Neal Midgett and Horace W. Midgett, Jr.
Horace was a people person often referred to has a big teddy bear. He enjoyed traveling, music, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brother, William “Billy” Midgett and wife, Nichole of Willisburg, KY; and two nephews, Jonathan and Jakob.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Manteo Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Twiford Colony Chapel.
