KILL DEVIL HILLS — Phillip Eugene Brown, Sr. passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the peace and comfort of his Colington, NC home. Phil was 78. He was born in West Virginia and in his youth, worked in the mining industry.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Brown of the residence; one son, Phillip E. Brown, Jr. of Greenville, NC; his daughter, Felicia A. Courson (Grady) of Kitty Hawk, NC; one granddaughter, Lily; and his close friend and caregiver, Rhonda Runkles (Bryant) also of Colington.
