Sandra Pauline Zigler, 79, of Colington Harbour, NC, passed peacefully away at her home on January 5, 2024. Sandra, better known as Sandy, was born December 15, 1944. She was the daughter of Richard and Pauline Sutton who were also Outer Banks residents. Surviving Sandy is her loving husband Marlow Zigler; brother, Rick Sutton and his wife Kathy; son Marc Zigler; daughter, Nicole Weisbecker and her husband Rich; and her two granddaughters, Natalie Prosser and Amanda Prosser.
The celebration of Sandy’s life is knowing that she was and still is the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend anyone could ever ask for. Very few people in this world care more for others than themselves, and Sandy was one of those people. There should be more like her in this world.
