NAGS HEAD — Timothy Gessford Goodwin of Nags Head, NC, passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 37.
Born on March 27, 1987, Tim embraced the coastal life, which led him to a career as a commercial fisherman. He attended Manteo High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Michael Goodwin.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts. Surviving are his mother, Callista “Lani” Goodwin (Joe) of Nags Head, NC; brother, Kyle Goodwin (Alex) of Chicago, IL; uncle, Harold Gessford of Colington, NC; aunt, Sarey Goodwin Carey of Raleigh, NC; great-aunts, Dixie Hunt of Wanchese, NC, and Elsie Beck of Rodanthe, NC; girlfriend, Amy Herweyer; and numerous cousins and friends.
In remembrance of Tim’s life, a gathering will be held at a later date.
