The Bodie Island Lighthouse is open daily for climbing, and on Tuesday evenings in the summer months, visitors will have a unique opportunity to catch the panoramic view after hours.
Every Tuesday from May 27 through August 26, the Bodie Island Lighthouse will hold evening climbs at 7:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.
Climbing tickets go on sale at 7:00 a.m. and may only be purchased on the same day of the intended climb.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens (62 or older), children 11 years of age and under, and the disabled, and are available for purchase online at www.recreation.gov/ticket/252034/ticket/10087143.
