Hatteras Island is hosting a number of Easter Sunrise Services and local events to coordinate with the upcoming Easter holiday on Sunday, April 9.
Local church services and special weekend activities, including Easter Egg Hunts, are listed below.

Easter Weekend Events
Clarks Bethel Methodist Church presents All Around Easter and Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 8, 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

- Free community cookout starts at noon
- All-around Easter celebration is 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Annual Easter Egg Event in Frisco

Presented by Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts and Calvary Chapel Hatteras Island. This event features egg hunts by age, free food, bunnies and chicks, and games for kids of all ages.
Frisco Woods Campground Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 8, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The Frisco Woods Campground will be hosting its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, as well as a Pig Pickin’ event with donations to benefit the Frisco-Buxton Pathway.
The kids’ Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 4:00 p.m., while a second adult Easter Egg hunt will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. All adult participants must be at least 21 years old, and adult egg-hunt items must be donated due to ABC license requirements. The Pig Pickin’ will include BBQ, Slaw, Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, and more, and plates are available for a $5 donation towards the pathway project.

& Life-Saving Station is holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Monday, April 10, at 1 p.m. Admission is FREE for the entire day from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Come on by early with the little ones to watch the Easter Bunny delivered by the big fire truck!
Easter Morning Sunrise Services
Fair Haven United Methodist Church Easter Sunrise Service
April 9 at 6:00 a.m.

Fair Haven United Methodist Church Easter Sunrise Service is at 6 a.m. on the church grounds. There will be a bonfire to keep warm as attendees watch the sunrise over the ocean followed by community breakfast.
