Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry running on an amended schedule for Saturday
The Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry is running on an amended schedule on Saturday, December 2, per an update from the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division.
The amended schedule is listed below, and is due to a mechanical issue. There is not an estimated timeframe for when the regular winter schedule will resume at this time.

Is there only one ferry at Hatteras? Why don’t the ferries actually run when scheduled…even amended?.? Does 6:15 actually mean 7:00? Does 3:30 actually mean 4:00?
Is this an inkling of what the future holds for Ocracoke?
