Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department requests public’s help in identifying suspect

Share post:

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, (July 15 and 16), a young man rode his bike to the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station in Hatteras village, and entered into the station through a window. He was then observed going through the apparatus, and stealing medical supplies and some other items two nights in a row.

Per a social media post, the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying the young man.

If you were here on vacation last week, and you saw this person or you know who he is, please contact the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/hatterasvfd/, or call the Dare County Sheriff’s Office Crimeline at 252-475-3111.
