Island Free Press announces the imminent launch of our new and improved website

A sneak peek at the new website

After months of hard work with our outstanding partner GCP Design & Marketing, the Island Free Press is delighted to announce the imminent launch of our new website, which will be live in the coming days.

The upgraded Island Free Press website will have all the same news categories, classifieds, stories, area guides, and archives as its predecessor, but it will feature enhanced functionality and speed, improved navigation, and a new layout that we hope will make it easier to access the latest headlines.

The website has been designed with our valued readers in mind, and we are excited to offer a new and improved way to access information and up-to-the-minute news about the islands we call home.

As we make the full transition, there may be adjustments or minor disruptions along the way, so please bear with us as we perfect our new site.

We hope you love the new website as much as we do, and we look forward to sharing the news and events that affect our islands with you for many years to come. Thank you for reading, and for trusting the Island Free Press as your Hatteras and Ocracoke Island news source!
