Tom Stewart (Resort Realty) and John & Julia Head (Colony Realty) announced today the signing of an agreement for Resort Realty to acquire the assets of Colony Realty. The combined vacation, real estate, long-term residential, and commercial entity will become Resort Realty, the division of Colony Realty, powered by Resort Realty.
This new partnership allows Colony Realty to continue to invest in internal support areas such as training, operational efficiencies, and marketing in the buying and selling of real estate in order to augment the vacation rental services provided by Resort Realty.
Senior management will consist of Tom Stewart, COO, as the leader of the combined interests, with John Head continuing as the leader of Real Estate Sales. The division will be directed by Brandi Ward, the long-time Colony Realty Director of Sales. Jaime Pennington, formerly of Colony Realty, will become Director of Long-Term and Commercial Property Management.
