Cator
BUXTON– Howard J. “Dutch”Cator, 74, formerly of Pennsville, N.J., went to be with the Lord onSept. 1, 2011.
Howardwas born Nov. 19, 1936 inBinghamton, N.Y., to Wallace and Mildred Cator.
Howardloved surf fishing and wasknown by everyone at “The Point” as Sand-spike and he wasalso an active member of Cape Hatteras Baptist Church.
Howardserved his country in theUnited States Army from 1955 to 1958. He worked at Dupont, ChambersWorks for 30 years as a pipe fitter then retired in 1992 to Buxton.
Heis survived by his loving wife of52 years, Elaine, and three daughters, Deborah Haldeman and herhusband Dutch of Pennsville, Brenda Hulmes and her husband Don ofLower Alloways Creek, and Margie Craven and her husband Jim ofPennsville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.
Memorialservice will be held atCape Hatteras Baptist Church at a later date.
