CPO Zeblin Vance Midgett, USN, Retired, 92, of Virginia Beach, VA, formerly of Kill Devil Hills, NC, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Born in Manteo, NC on December 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Ruth Partridge Midgett and Mahlon Midgett.
A veteran of the Korean conflict, World War II, and Vietnam, he served his country proudly with the United States Navy for over twenty years. After retiring, he worked at Old Dominion Tobacco Company until 1989, when he retired to Colington, NC.
Mr. Midgett is survived by his former wife, Virginia Midgett; two daughters, Sharon Ramming (Reid) and Jennifer Lytle; son, John Midgett (Antonia); four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time.
