Dare County reports 10 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Dare County announced 10 new positive COVID-19 test results on Thursday, April 1, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 2,985.

With Thursday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 51.

The 10 additional cases consist of 5 residents and 5 non-residents and include the following:

1) non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
2) resident, 18-24, male, home isolation
3) resident, 50-64. female, home isolation
4) resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
5) resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
6) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
7) non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred isolation
8) non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
9) non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
10) non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred isolation

New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
