“If you or a loved one know someone who is struggling with addiction, don’t suffer alone,” St. John UMC Rev. Gina Miller said. Miller added that Dare County has many resources for those in need and encourages residents to mark their calendars for this important event. “Please join us for an informative meeting, you might just save a life – and all lives are of sacred worth.”

The event will begin with a free dinner provided by St. John’s UMC from 5 to 6:15, during which time vendors from local organizations will be on hand with resources, information, and brochures related to Substance Use Disorder and treatment. The Town Hall will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Dare County Board of Commissioners Vice Chair and Saving Lives Task Force Co-Chair Wally Overman will offer welcoming remarks, followed by a number of speakers who will provide valuable information about the local resources.
