In observance of Independence Day, Dare County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2020. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th.
There are no changes to the trash collection schedule for Dare County Public Works. All areas will operate on their normal schedule on Friday, July 3.
Independence Day Closures:
- The Rodanthe Recycle Center and Manteo Recycle Yard will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.
- The Dare County C&D Landfill and Buxton Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, July 4
Kitty Hawk’s Saturday residential summer trash collection for the east side (beachside) of the bypass has begun and will continue through Labor Day.
