The Dare Education Foundation is pleased to announce its second Dueling Pianos live charity event to help raise money for Dare County schools, teachers, and students.
This live musical event is on January 31 from 6 to 10 p.m. at historic 108 Budleigh.
Join the Dare Education Foundation for a night of dancing and philanthropy as the Dueling Pianos conduct a live piano performance of guest-selected songs. All proceeds will help the foundation support Dare County schools via grants.
In addition to live music, the event will include food, cocktails, and a live auction.
Food options will be a mix of elegant hors d’oeuvres and desserts from locally owned Mia’s Bakeshop and Tearoom, while cocktails will be provided by Kiiind Cocktails. Shore Coffee Roasters will provide coffee.
The live auction will feature a romantic Bali travel package for two and a Wrigley Field Chicago Baseball travel package from Philantopia. The live auction also features a sunset sailing cruise from Coastal Sols, a four-hour fishing charter from Captain Bob’s Charters, a custom 36″ x 36″ painting from local artist Jill Block, and a two-night stay at Inn on Pamlico Sound.
Dare Education Foundation Events and Outreach Volunteer Committee Member Tianna Stathis said the nonprofit was hosting a Dueling Pianos event again because last year’s event saw such a positive response, and this was another opportunity to help Dare County teachers and students.
“This is so important because it brings our community together to help the schools directly,” Stathis said. “They can contribute to teachers and students in a big way by helping us fund our essential classroom grants that make teacher and students dreams come true.
