Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History Center reopens to full-time (6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 to 5) on April 12, 2022.

We’ve had a busy and exciting winter!  The Outer Banks Stamp Club has created an amazing exhibit for the museum.  The exhibit highlights Native Americans on stamps!  Members of the club donated their time, stamps, and building skills to create this incredible peek into history.

On April 5, several members installed the exhibit.  They even made extra exhibits about Native proverbs and sayings.  Wow, just wow.

We’re hosting a wonderful Grand Opening for their Stamp Exhibit on Thursday, April 14th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the museum!  Come and view their great work and chat with them.  As an added bonus, they’ll be showing some of their favorite stamps as well.

We have also made several new additions to other exhibits at the museum this winter so there are LOTS of great reasons to visit the Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History!   And keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for all the great special offerings this summer.  We’ll also be announcing when our expanded and enhanced exhibit on the Hatteras Island Native peoples reopens!

Can’t wait to meet you all!
