RODANTHE –TimothyJohn “T.J.” Cary, 49, passed away at the Outer Banks Hospital in NagsHead on Monday, Nov. 22. T.J. was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., toGeorge and Geraldine Loughlin Cary. He worked in Richmond,Va.,as an electrician for Virginia Power (VEPCO) before retiring to theOuter Banks, where he became manager of the Rodanthe Pier. T.J.was also an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He is survived by hiswife,Almedia “Dolly” Bell Cary of the residence and is predeceased by hissister, Colleen Cary.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, MarjorieFeliciano, six brothers, George Cary, Jr. of Granbury, Tex., John andThomas Cary, both of Richmond, Va., Daniel and Michael Cary, both ofAndover, N.J., and Christopher Cary of Centennial, Colo. T.J.isalso survived by his special friends, which include Kenny Weaver,Joseph and Virgie Goode, Wayne Andrews, and the Burkett family.
