AVON– Janette Gray Gray, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 ather residence. Mrs. Gray was a homemaker and a former worship leader atthe Avon Worship Center. She was the daughter of the late Jarvis Grayand Euzelia O’Neal Gray, and the widow of the Oscar Dwight Gray Sr. Shewas also preceded in death by a son, Michael Edward Gray.
Mrs.Gray is survived by a daughter, Diana G. Saunders, and husband, Frank,of Chesapeake, Va.; three sons, Oscar D. Gray Jr. and wife, Sandra, ofWilmington, N.C., Danny Bruce Gray and wife, Linda of South Mills,N.C., and Tilman Ray Gray and wife, Bonnie, of Avon; eightgrandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeralservices will be held at the Faith Life Worship Center in Avon onSaturday, July 30, at 2 p.m. with Tilman Gray officiating. The familywill receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 7 until 8p.m. Burial will be in the Gray Family Cemetery. Memorial donations maybe made to Hatteras Island Meals on Wheels, PO Box 854, Buxton, NC27920.
