SALVO — Jack Richard Rush, 65, of Salvo, NC died on Tuesday, October18, 2016 at his home. Born in Erie County, New York, he was the son ofthe late Paul E. Rush and Lucille Andrewjeski Rush. Jack was thecustomer service manager of Avon’s Ace Hardware.

Jack is survived by his wife, Linda Makowski Rush; daughter, Jodi RushIngelfinger and husband, George of Holland, NY; three sons, BrianMilgate and wife, Nicole of Charlotte, NC, Jared Rush and wife, Melaniealso of Charlotte, NC and Justin A. Rush and wife, Courtni of Salvo,NC; and eight grandchildren, Shane, David, Sarah, Gavin, Violet, Gage,Ellie, and Graelyn. Also surviving Jack is a sister, Barbara Little;and a brother, Robert Rush and wife, Diane.

A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be on Friday, October 21, 2016 from2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the residence, 27213 Ocean Spray Road,Salvo, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation, PO Box 442, Hatteras, NC 27943 or Dare Hospice, PO Box 669, Manteo, NC 27954.
