FRISCO — Anne Bruce Tolson, 82, of Frisco, North Carolina passed in the early morning of Saturday, April 27, 2019. She is met in death by her first husband Leonard Howell, and her late husband Solon “Buddy” Tolson. Her memory lives on in her two sons, Douglas Howell, and Charles Howell, as well as her beloved granddaughter Caroline Howell.
Anne was a passionate woman unafraid to speak her mind or help a friend in need. She was born September 24, 1936, in Binghamton, New York and spent her childhood at the Brickhouse in Vermont, and exploring New York City with her late mother Carol Bruce, and late father Robert Bruce. Anne moved to North Carolina after marrying to build a family and settle down, eventually retiring to Hatteras Island where she loved walks on the beach and caring for her family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
