NAGS HEAD — 
Becky Jean Sovia of Nags Head, NC died Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at her home.
Born in Oakland County, MI, she was the daughter of Margaret Ronald Sovia and the late Jimmy Walter Sovia.
Becky owned and operated Anytime Mortgage in Nags Head for over 15 years. She was a warm-hearted, kind, and giving person. Becky was a loving daughter, caring sister, and a devoted aunt. Becky will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her.
She is survived by her stepson, Dusty Midgett (Jill); stepgranddaughter, Lexi; two sisters, Pam Schuler (Nobel) and Peg Kopacz; two nieces, Jilli Jean Metzinger (Jimmy) and Allison Lebron (Gene); two nephews, Jason Schuler (Kristina) and Cameron Schuler (Brittney); and six great-nieces and nephews, Luca, Nico, Liam, Mica, Isla, and Zoe.
In addition to her father, Becky was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Luey “Cruiser” Edward Midgett.
The family will hold a private service to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dare Hospice, PO Box 669, Manteo, NC 27954.
