MANTEO — Debra Ann Walker Sullivan, 65, of Manteo, NC died Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Born in Medina, NY on August 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ann Knyter and William Nelson Walker.
A graduate of Barker Central High School, Debra worked as a bus driver for the Dare County Public School System.
She enjoyed camping, cruising, and enjoying vacations with her family and friends.
Debra is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Sullivan; two sons, Mark Sullivan (Elizabeth) of Hertford, NC; and Scott Sullivan (Catherine) of Hilton, NY; and four grandchildren, Mark, Leia, Jack, and Loren. Also, surviving are her siblings, Dawn Laskey (Donald), Darlene Lutz (Peter), Diana Walker, and Doreen Scott (Carl).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Finley.
A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo with Rev. Dr. William F. Walsh, osfs officiating.
