Due to the bad weather that is expected, the Willis family has moved the funeral from Monday to Tuesday.
A graveside funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at the Willis family cemetery in Frisco with Pastor David Stowe officiating.

FRISCO — Delmer Lewis Willis, 90, was born in Hatteras on May 5, 1930 and died peacefully in his home with family by his side on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
He was the son of the late Martha Farrow Willis and Hobson Willis. Delmer was also preceded in death by a son, Earl L. Willis.
Most importantly, he loved his family. He also loved to fish, hunt and take care and raise wood ducks. Because of Delmer, wood ducks returned to Hatteras Island.
Delmer is survived by his wife, Margaret Layne Willis; a sister, Sylvia Sawyer; four children, Delmer L. Willis, Jr., Sheila W. Jackson, Grace W. Barnett, and Darrell W. Willis; grandchildren, Lauren and Heather Willis, Brient E. Jackson (Amber), Sarah J. Allender, and Joshua Willis (Bridgett); and great-grandchildren, Owen Little, Adrianne and Paige Jackson, Myles and Ariel Allender.
The family would like to thank everyone for the kindness they have shown during his illness. They will never forget you.
